A leading Am Law 50 law firm is seeking a CLE Specialist / Senior CLE Specialist to support its attorney training, professional development, and Continuing Legal Education program in New York and Washington, D.C. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience managing CLE compliance, accreditation, attorney training programs, and CLE provider responsibilities within a sophisticated law firm environment.

Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 + overtime + bonus
About the Opportunity:
This role will oversee the firm’s CLE program, ensuring attorneys remain compliant with applicable CLE requirements and that internal, webinar, and on-demand programming is properly accredited, delivered, tracked, and documented. The position sits within the Professional Development team and will work closely with PD leadership, attorneys, practice groups, faculty presenters, and external CLE technology vendors.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain working knowledge of New York CLE rules, including credit types, reporting periods, carryover, exemptions, and recordkeeping requirements
- Monitor attorney CLE compliance and provide reminders, reports, and escalations as deadlines approach
- Respond to attorney questions regarding CLE eligibility, credit allocation, and documentation
- Prepare and submit program accreditation and approval applications
- Manage supporting documentation, including agendas, timed outlines, faculty bios, and written materials
- Ensure attendance confirmations and CLE certifications are accurately administered for live, webinar, and on-demand programs
- Partner with practice groups to build and execute an annual CLE curriculum and calendar
- Manage CLE programs from intake through scheduling, faculty coordination, materials collection, accreditation, delivery, and post-program wrap-up
- Support the development and maintenance of an on-demand CLE catalog
- Track CLE utilization, participation, hours delivered, curriculum coverage, and compliance metrics
- Serve as a point of contact for CLE vendors, LMS/on-demand platforms, webinar tools, and evaluation systems
- Maintain attorney CLE records, including onboarding new attorneys, gathering lateral CLE records, and preparing departure records
Ideal Background:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4–6+ years of experience in CLE administration, professional development, attorney training, or law firm learning
- Experience managing CLE provider responsibilities, accreditation submissions, and compliance documentation
- Strong project management skills and sharp attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately in a fast-paced professional services environment
- Technology proficiency with CLE tracking systems, LMS platforms, webinar tools, and Microsoft Office
- Excel proficiency strongly preferred
- Experience with Micron is a plus
