ResponsibilitiesThe Mayo Clinic Division of Hematology in Rochester, Minnesota seeks to recruit a physician (MD or MD/PhD) with interest in Classical Hematology. Eligible candidates will focus research, practice, and education efforts on classical hematologic disorders. Additional desirable attributes include clinical experience and a track record in clinical or translational research, as well as publication record in classical hematology. The ideal candidate will be a clinician/clinician investigator who will help expand our classical hematology practice, including caring for patients with autoimmune hemolytic anemia, bleeding disorder, hemoglobinopathy, immune thrombocytopenia, iron disorder, thrombosis, and thrombotic microangiopathy.
The Classical Hematology group at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN is comprised of physicians, advanced practice providers, and scientists. The position involves a balance of research time, hospital service (hematology inpatient and consult services 8 weeks/year), and clinic-based activity.

Compensation DetailThe minimum starting salary for medical specialties may range from $208,000 to $708,168. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
