Claims Coordinator


Position Summary:


The Claims Coordinator provides support to clients and the internal claims team with new claims intake, claims reporting, and ensures client information is accurate in the CRM system. This role serves as a liaison between clients and Keystone internal stakeholders, helping to ensure efficient processes and a high level of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage new claims intake, including carrier filing, Salesforce setup, and assignment to a Claims Consultant.
  • Coordinate loss run requests on a monthly basis; review for accuracy and completeness against open and closed claims in Salesforce, and email updates and notifications to Claims Consultants.
  • Support the onboarding process for new clients.
  • Oversee Workers’ Compensation (WC) panel management, including requesting new client physician panels, maintaining updates, storing documentation in client folders, emailing client postings and client panel renewal updates.
  • Track and update WC policy renewal information within Salesforce.
  • Distribute incoming claims-related faxes to the appropriate team members.
  • Process claims medical bills by submitting to carriers and maintaining proper documentation within claims folders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Claims.


Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior claims experience within the insurance industry highly desired
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, as permitted by law


Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm EST


Office Location: 7562 State Route 30, Irwin, PA 15642 (Hybrid Work Options Available)
