The City of Chandler Police Department, Operational Support Bureau is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team asCivilian Elementary Education Engagement Specialist. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with no benefits along with no ASRS pension system. The anticipated work schedule is between Monday – Friday, 8am – 3pm, and work hours are limited 19 or less hours per week. This position provides direct education and support within the elementary and middle schools of Chandler Unified School District.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, positive attitude and can establish priorities and manage multiple tasks. In addition, we need our personnel to be able to instruct elementary education law related classes to primarily 6th grade elementary students. The new team members must also possess the ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as a part of a team.

Work is performed under the supervision of a Police Sergeant or designated supervisor. This position does not supervise others.
