Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sr Civil Inspector – Water/Wastewater to support construction inspection services on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including work for the City of Phoenix and other local agencies. This role requires a seasoned field professional with strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater construction, and the ability to independently lead inspection efforts in the field.
This position is primarily field-based and involves overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. The Sr Civil Inspector will serve as a key liaison between contractors, project engineers, and City representatives, while assisting with coordination and issue resolution on active construction sites.

Work Environment
This role is based out of a Phoenix office and involves extensive fieldwork on active construction sites within the City of Phoenix. You will split time between the office and outdoor job sites, working in varying weather conditions, including high summer temperatures. The company provides a vehicle for travel to project locations and a work phone or phone expense. The work schedule follows standard business hours with the expectation of overtime as project needs arise. Dress is appropriate for construction fieldwork, including suitable outdoor and safety attire consistent with construction site requirements.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
