We are seeking an experienced and licensed Civil Engineer (PE) with 5–10 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven project management skills, and the ability to deliver innovative engineering solutions for a variety of public and private projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead design efforts, mentor junior staff, and make a tangible impact on infrastructure, development, and community-focused projects. Essential Job Functions

Design and Drafting

  • Work with the design team to develop and oversee engineering project designs for grading, drainage, roadways, and utilities.
  • Prepare and review engineering calculations, design plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software for detailed project design.


Document and Reporting

  • Prepare technical reports, design specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with California environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain organized records of engineering plans and revisions.


Communication and Collaborative Support

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-disciplinary teams, including surveyors, architects, and planners.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and recommendations.


Quality Assurance

  • Review engineering plans for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Conduct field inspections and assist in resolving design-related issues.
  • Implement engineering best practices to improve efficiency and project outcomes


Team Leadership

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers and technical staff.
  • Assist in training junior engineers on design processes and regulatory standards.
  • Support senior engineers in developing project strategies and execution plans.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • California P.E. license in Civil Engineering is required
  • Must possess 5-10 years’ experience in Civil Engineering
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Civil3D
  • Public Agencies, Grading Plans, Hydrology, & Land Development is a plus
