This position oversees the Policy, Central Registry, Program Integration, and Financial units, which include 32 staff, and also manages priorities for Digital Services projects. Because of the scope and complexity of this role, some overlap is needed to pass along knowledge, maintain consistency in decisions, and avoid disruptions to day to day operations and time-sensitive work.If you're driven, collaborative, and ready to make an impact—this could be the opportunity for you!Two years of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been at the supervisory level or above:Eight years of experience in child support enforcement; ORSix years of full-time work experience in any field plus five years of experience in child support enforcement; ORA bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience in child support enforcement; ORA master's degree plus four years of experience in child support enforcement.EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found

Job Duties- The incumbent will recommend changes and direct the development of program initiatives, policies, and procedures for the Child Support Program.
- Analyzes implementation plans in 12 district offices, ensuring policy compliance.
- Makes recommendations on the appointment, promotion discipline, or dismissal or staff in accordance with agency rules for personnel administration.
- Develops and implements child support enforcement policy and procedures for child support enforcement staff statewide.
- Works closely with DCFS Field management including District Attorneys to ensure that the program meets the goals set forth by the federal government in the areas of performance and data reliability.
- Represents the agency and speaks/ makes presentations at national, regional, state, and local conferences and meetings.
Position-Specific Details:Appointment Type: This position is open to current permanent Department of Children and Family Services employees ONLY. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months.
Work Schedule: Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
