The mission of Health and Himan Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) is to provide objective oversight to promote the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness, and integrity of HHS programs, as well as the health and welfare of the people they serve. Education
There is no education substitution for this level. Desirable Qualification: Education, certifications and professional recognition related to the information technology field. The 2210 IT Management Series has an Individual Occupational Requirement. Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the following competencies: (1) Attention to Detail - being through when planning, developing, and carrying out vital tasks in managing IT projects and other IT business functions. (2) Customer Service - engaging with customers to seek input, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations. Using customer input to inform qualify product and services. (3) Oral Communication - expressing highly technical information (e.g., ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (e.g., technical, sensitive, controversial); making clear and convincing oral presentations. (4) Problem Solving - identifying problems; determining relevance of information; using sound judgement to generate and evaluate alternatives and make recommendations.
