Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background in legal services, personal injury, litigation support, case management, or medical-legal operations. Houston-based candidates are strongly preferred.

This role will oversee all operational functions while helping scale a high-growth organization serving attorneys, physicians, and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate understands both professional services operations and the unique demands of legal case support environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead company-wide operations, including case management, client services, provider relations, and administrative functions
  • Develop and implement scalable operational systems and workflows
  • Oversee relationships with law firms, attorneys, physicians, and healthcare providers
  • Ensure timely coordination of medical records, scheduling, treatment documentation, and case support services
  • Build KPI reporting systems to improve efficiency, turnaround times, and client satisfaction
  • Recruit, develop, and manage operational leadership teams
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, and applicable legal requirements
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements
  • Support business development efforts and strategic partnerships


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; JD, MBA, MHA, or related advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of executive or senior operations leadership experience
  • Experience managing teams and scaling service-based organizations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with CRM, case management, and operational reporting systems
