Headquartered in Bowling Green, Kentucky, HSK offers comprehensive services in private residences, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, and its state-of-the-art inpatient Hospice House. The Hospice House includes ten private patient suites, a family-friendly environment, and scenic surroundings for comfort. HSK is a nonprofit organization, supported by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and trained volunteers who deliver round-the-clock care, ranging from general inpatient to respite and residential services.

Role Description

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a full-time, on-site position located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The CNO will oversee all clinical nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients and their families. They will provide leadership, manage nursing staff, develop and enforce clinical policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The CNO will foster a compassionate care environment, promote staff development, and collaborate across departments to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications
  • Proven leadership and management skills in healthcare settings, particularly in hospice or related fields
  • Experience in clinical operations, compliance with healthcare regulations, and quality assurance
  • Proficiency in planning, organizing, and implementing patient care services
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky
  • Advanced certifications in hospice and palliative care (preferred)
  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and the mission of nonprofit hospice organizations
