Meadowview Behavioral Hospital is a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art psychiatric hospital opening in Peoria, Illinois. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Medical Officer to help build and lead our clinical program from the ground up.
This is a high‑visibility, on‑site executive leadership role offering a rare opportunity to establish clinical standards, shape hospital culture, and partner directly with executive leadership during the launch of a new behavioral health facility.
What You’ll Do
- Lead clinical strategy, quality initiatives, and medical governance for a newly established psychiatric hospital
- Establish evidence‑based clinical standards and ensure excellence in patient care
- Recruit, mentor, and support psychiatrists and advanced practice clinicians
- Collaborate closely with hospital leadership on program development and service line growth
- Serve as a visible, on‑site medical leader supporting the clinical team
- Optional clinical caseload for those who wish to continue to practice
