Position Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership across the organization. This role oversees Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting functions and partners closely with senior executives to drive financial performance, operational discipline, and long-term growth.


The CFO plays a critical role in shaping financial strategy, supporting business decision-making, and ensuring the organization maintains strong governance, compliance, and capital stewardship in a dynamic financial services environment.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives and long-term growth plans
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Translate financial results into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Drive financial discipline and performance management across the enterprise


Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
  • Enhance financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance reporting capabilities
  • Ensure FP&A functions deliver timely, accurate, and decision-oriented analysis
  • Partner with business leaders to link financial outcomes to operational drivers


Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Oversee accounting operations, financial controls, and reporting in accordance with regulatory and GAAP requirements
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports
  • Maintain robust internal controls and promote best practices across financial operations


Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, internal policies, and governance standards
  • Anticipate and manage financial, operational, and regulatory risks
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and audit functions to maintain strong control frameworks


Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing finance organization
  • Develop succession plans and promote professional development within the finance team
  • Foster a collaborative, high-accountability culture across finance and business partners


Enterprise Leadership

  • Act as a unified leader within the executive team, contributing beyond finance to organizational success
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support growth initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic projects


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
  • CPA or comparable professional certification a plus


Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior or executive-level roles
  • Strong background in financial services or similarly complex, regulated environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading FP&A, accounting, and treasury functions
  • Experience working with sophisticated owners, investors, or boards strongly preferred
