We are conducting a search for a Chief Financial Officer on behalf of a scaled, multi-location construction / field services organization.


The company is entering its next phase of growth, with a strong focus on investing in and strengthening its financial infrastructure, forecasting capabilities, and operational visibility across a distributed business.

Position Overview

The CFO will serve as a key financial leader and partner to the executive team, playing a central role in enhancing financial systems, building more robust forecasting processes, and driving greater visibility across multi-site, field-based operations.


This role requires a leader who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level, with a focus on building and refining financial infrastructure that supports a growing organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Provide financial visibility and reporting across multiple locations and business units
  • Strengthen job costing, margin analysis, and operational KPIs
  • Oversee accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and compliance functions
  • Support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational decision-making
  • Develop and implement scalable financial systems, processes, and reporting tools
  • Partner with leadership to drive performance, accountability, and financial discipline


Qualifications

  • Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience within a $250M+ organization
  • Background in construction, home services, or field-based, multi-site operations
  • Strong operational finance expertise, including job costing and margin management
  • Experience leading budgeting and forecasting across distributed business models
  • Ability to operate effectively in both strategic and hands-on capacities
