ROLE DESCRIPTION
Crescent is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chief Engineer to lead the engineering operations of a 560,000-square-foot portfolio spanning 16 properties across three business parks in Boulder, Colorado. In this hands-on leadership role, you will be a member of a six-person property management and engineering team where you will have two direct reports. You will oversee all aspects of the engineering department and be fully accountable for achieving operational objectives, while leading, coordinating, and directing the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of building maintenance activities – both personally and through your team – to ensure optimal building performance, operational efficiency, and exceptional tenant service.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, making hiring recommendations, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is expected to be to between $95,000.00 – $110,000.00/annual, plus participation in an annual discretionary bonus plan in the range of 0 – 20% of your base earnings. The actual pay will be determined on your skills, qualifications and experience.
