Cherry Picker Operator - 1st & 2nd shift

Our client, a leading industrial organization in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a Forklift Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift to join their dedicated team. As a Forklift Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift

Location: Knoxville, TN

Pay Range: $18.50

Shift: 1st shift: M-F (5am-3:30pm) plus mandatory OT on Saturdays
2nd Shift: M-F (2pm-12:30am) plus mandatory OT on Saturdays

What's the Job?

• Operate material handling equipment such as Drexel, forklift, pallet jack, Reach truck, and order picker to move goods efficiently and safely.
• Ensure timely put away or transfer of goods within the warehouse environment.
• Complete daily equipment checklists to maintain safety and operational standards.
• Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper handling and documentation of goods.
• Properly tag palletized goods for transportation to facilitate smooth logistics operations.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks safely and effectively.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50-100 lbs continuously.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
