We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Chemist I to support laboratory operations for a high-priority client. This role involves performing fundamental wet chemistry tasks, preparing laboratory materials, and supporting analytical testing workflows. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, accuracy, and adherence to laboratory best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare standards, reagents, and solutions using basic wet bench chemistry techniques
- Perform precise measurements using analytical balances and pipettes
- Conduct dilutions and ensure accuracy in sample preparation
- Support analytical laboratory operations, including vial preparation and sample labeling
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities and data
- Follow established safety protocols and quality procedures
- Assist with general laboratory organization and maintenance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience with basic wet chemistry techniques
- Proficiency in precision weighing using analytical balances
- Strong analytical pipetting skills
- Familiarity with basic analytical laboratory support tasks
