Chemist
Description
The Chemist in this position is responsible for performing routine and non-routine quality tests to help ensure quality and further the development of their pharmaceutical platforms. The primary instrumentation utilized in this lab is HPLC, UPLC and GC. The chemist is expected to follow Good Lab Practices (GLP) regulatory requirements and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
Performs preparation collection measurement and recordkeeping of samples
Documents test and data analysis results
Supports development area as needed / commercial QC release
Communicates with team members to ensure schedule requirements are met
Applies knowledge of performed tasks to elucidate test method failures
Analyzes and deduces data and collates test results
Communicates priority and timeliness for completion of customer requests
Helps drive the team to meet business goals
Learns and understands the manufacturing organization that the lab supports
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or related science
12+ months of wet chemistry experience in regulated industry
12+ months of experience with GMP/cGMP/GLP
12+ months of chromotography experience (HPLC, GC, UPLC, dissolution, Karl Fischer, FTIR, UV-Vis)

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
