Job Title: Chemical Engineering Entry Level Graduate - Applications Engineering Technician
Job Description
This role involves setting up and operating pilot equipment such as evaporators, crystallizers, and boilers. You will operate various tools including hoses, pumps, heaters, and centrifuges throughout testing processes. Additionally, you will record and document outputs from the equipment, such as pressure, temperature, gauge levels, and chemical data. The position requires performing analytical testing like titrations, spectroscopy, solids composition, crystal characterization, and microscopy. You will document all laboratory results and collaborate with team members to develop products per customer applications. Maintaining a safe, clean working lab space by following basic laboratory practices is essential.

Work Environment
The position is set in a lab environment, working alongside approximately 15 others. The schedule is Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. as testing needs to be performed 24/7. Candidates will gain substantial experience, potentially equivalent to 2 to 5 years, within a year or two, covering R&D, chemical processes, and scale-up processes. There is the potential for contract-to-hire conversion, with pay raises for well-performing individuals.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
