Salary:$26.11 - $36.39 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Optimize Revenue Cycle Integrity: Spearhead charge master audits and process improvements to maximize billing efficiency, enhance collection efforts, and ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Resolve Billing Inconsistencies: Leverage deep clinical and coding expertise to analyze software edits and reports, proactively identifying and rectifying discrepancies to ensure accurate reimbursement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Managed Care and clinical departments to accurately code billable items and secure essential data for streamlined revenue operations.
  • Strategic Staff Education: Empower case management and departmental teams by providing expert guidance on evolving payer requirements and effective denial/appeal strategies.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • Must reside in or near Austin, TX
  • Medical billing and/or office experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to work at a fast paced environment that requires multitasking.
  • Microsoft Word and Google applications experience a plus.
