Chapter Network Development Coordinator (Part-Time / Remote)

Job Overview: The Chapter Network Development Coordinator, with support from both the Chapter Network Officer and Creative Services and Event Manager will be responsible for supporting Gift of Adoption (GOA) Chapters across the country with communications, administrative and fundraising support to help them reach their individual Chapter goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Chapter’s giving circles including, site landing page set up, promotional emails, social media posts, etc.
  • Manage Chapter’s cause marketing campaigns (ex. restaurant give/back promotions) including promotional emails, FB event set up, social media posts, etc.
  • Manage Chapter’s auctions (not associated with an event) and raffles including pulling state licenses and following all rules governing raffles (where applicable by state), creating event pages to purchase tickets, and promotional emails, FB event set up, social media posts, etc.
  • CRM support with data tracking, reporting, and data entry related to chapter stewardship, meetings, etc.
  • Support weekly new donor thank you calls
  • Support annual updates to Chapter materials examples include Fact Sheets, Chapter web site pages, Board Responsibility Descriptions, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
  • Familiar with design programs such as Canva and Adobe InDesign.
  • Proficiency in a PC environment using Microsoft Office software including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with posting on social media, email marketing platforms (ex. Constant Contact), and website editing (ex. updating language, images, etc).
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Action-oriented work ethic with a drive to manage priority work and meet deadlines.
  • Personal work character and style that aligns with GOA’s core values: honor, amplify, and be scrappy.
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree Preferred with preference given to candidates with communications/marketing focus
  • Ability to work fully remote up to 16 hours a week. Preference given to candidates who can work 5-days a week for shorter hours.
  • Preference given to candidates who live in MI, OH, IN, IL or WI because this position requires annual travel to by car to Chicago-area quarterly for staff meetings.
Compensation and Benefits: Gift of Adoption Fund offers a highly competitive compensation plan commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the individual selected. As a non-benefit eligible part-time role, this position does not qualify for company sponsored health, disability, or life insurance plans. A 401(k) Plan is available to save for retirement with an employer match fully vested after three years of service. Our vacation, holiday, and leave of absence policies prioritize work-life balance for Gift of Adoption staff.
