Services include
Wellness: vaccinations, parasite prevention, illness screening through laboratory testing both in-house and reference labs
Dentistry: Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment (COHAT) and oral surgery (gingival, lingual, and dental) with digital dental radiology
Soft Tissue and Orthopedic Surgery: Spay and Neuter, mass removal, and other surgeries as indicated: enucleation and other ophthalmic procedures, stenotic naris resection, mastectomy, laceration repair, cystotomy, urethral surgery, gastrotomy, enterotomy, resection and anastomosis, gastropexy, limb or digit amputation, and others as indicated
Illness diagnosis and management: metabolic, cardiac, gastrointestinal, neurologic, dermatologic, orthopedic, immune, and more
Travel: Interstate and International Health Certificates
Behavior: helping with minor stress events to more complex behavior issues; Pre-Visit Pharmaceuticals (PVPs) are a great tool in preventing progressive vet-related anxiety
Role Description
This is a full-time, in-person role for a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).
In this role, you will be practicing at the top of your license: collecting medical histories, working with Dr. Bryce and clients throughout appointments, and providing client education; providing technician appointments for established clients, inducing and monitoring general anesthesia and recovery, performing COHATs with veterinary supervision, collecting medical samples, placing IV catheters, administering medication, assisting with patient triage, assisting with onboarding, education, and mentoring of hospital team, leveraging your experience to provide the highest standards of pet care. All veterinary team members will be expected to properly restrain animals for exams and treatments; prepare exam rooms and surgical areas; clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment; maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment
