Job Summary:Analyzes, interprets and accurately codes appropriate medical information on cancer patients into the KPCO Tumor Registry database to meet State of Colorado, National and Commission on Cancer American College of Surgeon standards for cancer case abstraction. Appropriately follow and document disease recurrence or progression adhering to approved standards. Capable of using prior year standards for case abstraction for previous years diagnoses. Generate reports, write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and provide new staff training.
