Certified Surg Tech – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Neurosurgery experience required by client.
• Availability to cover every third weekend and participate in holiday rotation as needed by the department.
• Ability to meet on-call requirement of approximately 10–12 days per month as requested by the department.
• Preferred: Experience with varied operating room assignments and cross-coverage across departments.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0630-1500. 8-hour shifts 6:30–15:00 depending on department needs.
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend coverage.
• On-call Requirement: Approximately 10–12 days per month.
• Holiday Rotation: As needed by department.
• Assignment Length: 13 week assignment.
• Floating: May be required to float to other units within the facility or campus as needed.
