Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Position Summary:

Prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Informs the physician of the patient's condition during anesthesia. Performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records.

Job Requirement

Education/Experience:

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in nursing from an accredited MSN program with a CRNA program, and licensed to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Licensing/Certification Requirements:

• State of Nevada License to Practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Certification by the NCRNA (National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association.

Additional Position Requirements

• Post-Master's certification from a COA-accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program
• Pediatric anesthesia experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule:

• Schedule and shift options (8s, 10s, 12s, etc.)
• Any combination of above shifts are available to satisfy 80 hours per pay period
• No on call requirements
