Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Lake Success, NY 11042 (Travel Required Between Sites)
Duration: 26 Weeks with a strong possibility of further extension
Schedule: 5 Days per Week | Day Shift (Varies between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $20-24/hr.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine phlebotomy procedures for both adult and pediatric patients
• Collect blood specimens through venipuncture and finger-stick procedures
• Verify patient identity using two patient identifiers and ensure accurate specimen labeling
• Follow proper order of draw and distinguish specimen requirements for laboratory testing
• Navigate laboratory information systems (LIS) with minimal errors and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Maintain a pace of approximately 4–6 patients per hour while ensuring quality and patient safety
• Travel to various draw stations and perform phlebotomy services as needed
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience
• Phlebotomy Certification required
• Experience performing both adult and pediatric blood draws
• Strong knowledge of specimen collection requirements and order of draw
• Ability to accurately verify patient information and maintain documentation standards

• Travel between locations is required on a weekly basis as needed
• Saturday availability is required
