Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist with hands-on experience in venipuncture. This role primarily focuses on blood collection, requiring candidates to be confident and capable of performing autonomous draws in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of autonomous venipuncture experience (excluding school/externship)
- Must be comfortable with blood draws as the primary responsibility
- Strong patient interaction and specimen handling skills
Education / Certification Requirements:
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CAAHEP or ABHES)
- Completion of Medical Assistant training through any branch of the armed forces
- Possess a Medical Assistant certification from an organization accredited by NCCA or ANSI (must also have completed MA training program)
Accepted Certifications:
- AMCA – American Medical Certification Association
- AMT – American Medical Technologists
- AAMA – American Association of Medical Assistants
- NHA – National Healthcareer Association
- NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing
? National Certified Phlebotomists are also accepted
Arizona Medical Assistant Requirements:
Candidates must meet at least one of the following:
- Graduate from a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited program
- Completed Medical Assistant training through the armed forces
- Hold a certification from an NCCA or ANSI accredited organization (with MA training completed)
