ORGANIZATIONAL DESCRIPTION
Collect blood from patients in hospital or similar facility following established standards and practices. Assume responsibility for the safety and comfort of the patient during the venipuncture process. Check the quality of patient samples.

Primarily Interacts with: administration, physicians, employees, clinical and non-clinical departments, patients, visitors, and volunteers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
ABILITY TO USE EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MATERIALS, MACHINES: Computer, telephone, facsimile machine, copier, scanner, printer, calculator, other standard office equipment and laboratory equipment.
