Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Los Angeles, CA, 90015

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to support clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves direct patient care, assisting providers, and ensuring seamless daily operations within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update patient information within the EMR system
• Conduct outbound calls to patients and schedule appointments and follow-ups
• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, weight, and respiration
• Administer injections as directed by providers
• Perform blood draws (phlebotomy)
• Conduct EKGs
• Perform ear lavage procedures
• Assist providers during exams and medical procedures

Required Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (MA) – required
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Bilingual skills, especially Spanish-speaking
• Experience in high-volume or outpatient clinic environments
