The ideal candidate brings deep operating experience in the EV charging industry, a demonstrated track record of developing and delivering fast charging depots at scale, and established relationships across utilities, OEMs, charging networks, fleet operators, and infrastructure capital providers. This person must be entrepreneurial, commercially sharp, and accustomed to operating with urgency in a fast-paced, founder-led environment. This is a C-suite role with meaningful equity participation and a clear path to building and leading a dedicated EV charging operating company within the Wildflower platform.

Platform Leadership & Strategy:

  • Define and execute Wildflower's EV charging strategy across the NYC metro and targeted national expansion markets
  • Lead site selection, underwriting, and acquisition of fast charging depot opportunities in coordination with the acquisitions team
  • Build and manage a high-performing team across development, operations, engineering, and commercial functions
  • Establish Wildflower's EV charging platform as a best-in-class developer and operator of institutional-quality fast charging infrastructure
  • Serve as the public face of the platform with industry partners, municipalities, utilities, and capital providers

Development & Operations:

  • Oversee the full development lifecycle of fast charging depots, including site control, utility make-ready coordination, entitlements, design, construction, and commissioning
  • Manage relationships with ConEd, PSEG, National Grid, and other utilities across target markets, including navigating Make Ready programs, service upgrades, and interconnection timelines
  • Lead negotiations with charging network operators, fleet tenants, and rideshare partners on NNN leases, offtake agreements, and operating partnerships
  • Oversee ongoing asset performance, uptime, throughput, and tenant relationships across the operating portfolio
  • Drive innovation across depot design, charger procurement, energy management, and ancillary revenue streams

Capital Formation & Investor Relations:

  • Partner with the Managing Partner and acquisitions team on the EV charging platform capital raise, including institutional equity, project-level debt
  • Lead investor presentations, due diligence, and relationship management with infrastructure funds, strategic capital, and credit providers
  • Support structuring of joint ventures, programmatic equity commitments, and project financings
  • Maintain active dialogue with lenders, equity providers, and government funding programs

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in the EV charging industry, with a demonstrable track record of developing and delivering fast charging depots from site identification through operations
  • Direct P&L or platform-level leadership experience at an EV charging developer, operator, network, utility, or infrastructure fund
  • Deep expertise in fast charging depot development, including site selection, utility interconnection, make-ready coordination, permitting, construction management, and operations
  • Established relationships with charging networks, fleet operators, utilities, EPC contractors, OEMs, and infrastructure capital providers
  • Strong commercial acumen across NNN leasing, offtake agreements, JV structures, and infrastructure project finance
  • Working knowledge of EV charging economics, including unit economics by use case (fleet, rideshare, public), tax credit structures, and state/federal incentive programs
  • Experience raising and deploying institutional capital into EV charging or adjacent infrastructure asset classes
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a platform within an established real estate sponsor
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Degree in a relevant field from a top tier school; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Commitment to ethics, integrity, and building a durable, institutional-quality business
