Role Description

The CEM Equipment Technician - Tech I will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting equipment used in electronic manufacturing processes. This role will also involve conducting preventive maintenance and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The position is a full-time, on-site role based in Nampa, ID.


Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all Surface Mount, Thru-Hole, Conformal Coat, and process-related and facilities equipment.
  • Perform and track machine maintenance and calibration.
  • Operate a scissor lift and powered pallet jack when required.
  • Provide written and verbal passdowns and other information in an organized manner.
  • Complete assigned projects and tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist in the installation of all manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist engineering in designed experiments and process development.
  • Be quality-conscious in all aspects of production support.


Requirements:

  • Proven strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Proficient in reading and verifying electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics/drawings.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
  • Have good written and oral interpersonal skills with an ability to work under minimum supervision.
  • Must be safety-oriented in the proper use of hand and power tools and understand energy isolation on all equipment.
  • Must be able to operate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Able to work a minimum of 10-hour shifts plus overtime when needed.
  • Must be available nights or days (An assigned shift will be given).


Education:

Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent educational background preferred.

Work-related experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.


Compensation:

$20-$35 per hour, based on experience. We offer a competitive and comprehensive employment package.
