Overview

The CDS Tax Support Specialistis responsible formanaging tax associated tasks under Medicaid Home and Community Based ServicesConsumer Directed Services.

External Job Description

• ObtaintaxIDsfor theMedicaidconsumer/employer.
• Organize andmaintaintax documents.
• Coordinaterelevant tax matters with branch staff, payroll vendor, and corporatesupport center.
• Communicatewith consumersregardingtax matters.
• Utilize Point of Care totrack discharges.
• Utilizestate and federal sites for tax applications andmaintaincurrent information.
• Analyzetax lettersforappropriate nextsteps and follow throughto resolution.
• Ensures tax handling is compliant with state regulations.
• Completes required job role training.
• Participate in staff meetings.
• Completes required job role training.
• Timely submission of timekeeping and paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diplomaor GED.Associate or bachelor’sdegree preferred.
• Oneor more years ofworking withCDStax related servicesand computer experiencepreferred.
• One or more years of general office and computer experiencerequired.
