Remote Cash Posting SpecialistStarting at $47,000 up to $55,000/year depending on experience, higher education and licensure

Key Responsibilities:
•Process and post daily payments and denials to correct client accounts•Ensure all receipts are posted correctly by month-end close•Verify proper posting to center, provider, client, service, and date/time of service•Partner with Treasury, A/R, and Centers to identify payments and resolve account issues•Notify staff of overpayments or retracted payments•Research and resolve credit balances in partnership with AR•Communicates clearly with internal teams to resolve posting discrepancies and ensure accurate, timely reconciliation of accounts.
What We’re Looking For•Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent experience•Strong A/R cash posting experience (preferred)•Experience supporting multiple departments or centers•Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, remittance advice, explanation of benefits•Analytical with the ability to put processes together and have strong attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity•Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing demands of the position, customer needs and the organization;•Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in the use of financial database management systems, specifically strong skills in utilizing Excel•Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality

Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years or older
High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in finance or related degree preferred
1 year experience in cash posting in healthcare fieldrequired
