As a Carrier Procurement Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Fastway’s services in accordance with established sales policies and procedures, and in pursuit of the company’s
goals and objectives.
Total compensation potential $60,000-70,000 annually.
Your day-to-day:
- Calling carriers daily and following up on potential business
- Communicating with carrier operations to track loads
- Building out your internal carrier network for optimal coverage
- Quoting customers and providing up-to-date information
- Participating in the growth of new business
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with carriers
- Collaborating with coworkers in a team-oriented environment
- Manage relationships with current carriers to provide excellent service to our existing customers
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers depending on current market rates
- Monitor progress of shipments on a daily basis to ensure coverage, on-time performance, and addressing any mid-transit issues
- Communicate load details and shipment parameters to carrier dispatch and drivers throughout the lifespan of the shipment
- Other duties as assigned
