Carpenter
Overview
This role focuses on building precise, high-quality molds for precast concrete using a variety of carpentry tools. You will interpret blueprints, make informed decisions on how best to construct each mold, and ensure that every finished product meets exact customer specifications. The position emphasizes craftsmanship and accuracy over speed, and requires basic data entry to track work in a shared online document.

Work Environment
The work takes place primarily indoors in a carpentry and production environment where molds are built and finished. There is also an outdoor yard area that you may visit to retrieve materials and stock as needed. The indoor workspace can be dusty and noisy due to sawdust, sanding, grinding, and other fabrication activities, so you should be comfortable working in an active shop setting with appropriate safety practices and protective equipment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chicago, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
