Finish Carpenter – High‑End Residential

$23–$35/hr (Depending on Experience)

A high‑end residential builder is looking for a skilled Finish Carpenter to work on custom homes from the ground up. This is a hands‑on role focused on precision, craftsmanship, and high‑quality finishes. If you take pride in detailed work and enjoy seeing a home come together in its final stages, this is a great opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Perform finish carpentry on high‑end custom homes
  • Install doors, windows, trim, baseboard, crown molding, and casing
  • Install cabinetry, built‑ins, shelving, and stair components
  • Complete detailed interior and exterior trim work
  • Assist with flooring installation as needed
  • Perform light rough carpentry and punch‑list work
  • Read and follow blueprints and construction drawings
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools
  • Assist with carpentry related to drywall, roofing details, and exterior features
  • (fascia, pergolas, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of residential carpentry experience, with a strong focus on finish work
  • Solid understanding of trim details and finish techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficient with saws, nail guns, measuring tools, and other hand/power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
  • Able to work independently and as part of a crew
Bonus Skills
  • Cabinet or built‑in installation experience
  • Painting, restoration, or specialty trim experience
  • Exterior finish carpentry experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
