Job Description

Join our dynamic team working on diverse commercial projects, including constructing banks, doctor's offices, hospitals, schools, and churches. You will be engaged in various carpentry tasks such as installing walls, doors, windows, floors, trims, painting, finishing, and framing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform finish, rough, and commercial carpentry work.
  • Install, cut, and hang drywall, doors, and windows.
  • Construct walls and floors with precision.
  • Read and interpret drawings and blueprints accurately.
  • Execute metal stud framing efficiently.
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in construction, carpentry, and framing techniques.
  • 3-7+ years of experience in finish, rough, and commercial carpentry.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to measure accurately using tape measures.
  • Experience in drywall, sheetrock finishing, and door installation.
  • 3-5+ years of metal stud framing experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in cabinetry, wood framing, and drywall finishing.
  • Capability to work from blueprints and drawings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
