The City of Sioux Falls is accepting applications for a part-time Career Cadet with the Sioux Falls Police department!!
This position is a maximum of 28 hours per week, and schedule based on the needs of the department.
***Please advise, you must be accepted and/or enrolled in the Law Enforcement Sciences program at Southeast Technical College, pursuing an Associate's Degree in Law Enforcement Sciences, to have your application considered*** Participate in activities in various areas of the Sioux Falls Police Department which may include, but not limited to:Investigative Services, Traffic, Patrol, School/Community Resource Officers, Crime Lab, K9, and Training
Assist with community events such as: National Night Out, Coffee with a Cop, and SFPD Citizen’s Police Academy. Be enrolled in the law enforcement program at Southeast Technical College, pursuing an Associate's Degree in Law Enforcement Science, and must maintain good academic standing in the program during employment.
Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check prior to employment that may include:
Panel Interview
Criminal and personal history investigation
Previous employment verification and performance checks
