Nashville General Hospital is hiring for an Care-Partner/CNA for Med/Surg as a Full-time Night Care Partner at our Main Hospital on Albion Street.� � � � � � � � � � � � This Care Partner position will be a Certified Nursing Assistant that is primarily responsible for providing direct care for assigned patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.A care partner/CNA gets direction from a licensed nurse to assist the patient with needs and tasks. *This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts and a weekend requirement.*� � � � � � � � � � Care-Partner/CNA Roles and Responsibilities:� � � � � �
Taking and recording patient vitals
Helping patients with daily tasks, including getting dressed and using the restroom
Monitoring patient progress and maintaining health records
Fostering strong relationships with patients and making patients feel comfortable
Aiding communication between patients and healthcare teams
Communicating with the patient's family
Helping patients plan for hospital discharge
Required Skills & Qualifications:� � � � � �
Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Tennessee OR Current enrollment in a program of professional nursing RN and successful completion of first semester of nursing school to include nursing fundamentals clinical
Employee must have valid BLS upon hire. CPI required within 90 days of hire.� � � �
