Description:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Cardiovascular Sonographer to join the diagnostic Cardiology team.

In this role, you will perform non-invasive diagnostic ultrasound procedures of the heart and vascular system, delivering high-quality imaging and accurate preliminary findings that support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in echocardiography and related cardiovascular studies.

What you will do

  • Performs cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound scans (Transthoracic echo with and without contrast; Transesophageal Echo; Pediatric Echo and/or Carotid Duplex)
  • Accurately acquire, analyze, and document ultrasound images and measurements
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain the exam process clearly and compassionately
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Completion of Certified Cardiac Ultrasound program.
  • Licensure: One of the following certifications (current or pending): RDCS Certification, CCI
  • Certification: BLS certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification preferred.
