How you'll make an impact in this role

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures to assess heart structures and blood flow.
• Deliver high-quality diagnostic images by adjusting technical parameters and maneuvering transducers to capture accurate clinical data for physician review.
• Implement rigorous safety standards and quality control procedures to ensure clinical excellence and maintain regulatory compliance across all exams.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to perform routine and complex studies while assisting in various advanced cardiac imaging procedures.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiac Sonographer specializing in Adult Echo credentialed from the American Registry forDiagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or jobtransfer date. Advanced Pediatric Echocardiography Registered Diagnostic CardiacSonographer-Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) or Fetal Echocardiography Registered DiagnosticCardiac Sonographer-Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-FE) also accepted.
  • Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular CredentialingInternational (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-ACS) orCardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCCS)also accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
