About the Department
The Diagnostic Imaging Department utilizes state-of-the-art imaging technology to support fast, accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care.
Services include:
• Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Interventional Radiology
• MRI
• CT Scan
• Digital Mammography
• PET-CT
• Nuclear Medicine
• Ultrasound
• Fluoroscopy
• X-Ray Services
This role offers direct involvement in cardiac and radiologic procedures while working within a highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor patient condition throughout cardiovascular and radiologic procedures
• Maintain procedural documentation and case records
• Enter billing information and manage digital case archives
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and imaging professionals
• Support efficient procedural workflow and patient throughput
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
Required
• Graduate of an accredited CVT or RCIS program
• Current unencumbered CVT or RCIS credential
• CCI credential (or ability to obtain within six months)
• BLS Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
• One year of Cath Lab or Angiography experience
• ACLS Certification (or ability to obtain within six months)
• Experience within hospital-based Cath Lab or Interventional environments
• Strong cardiovascular procedural knowledge
