Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse

Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab (Day Shift)

Hourly Pay: $66/hour

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: 4x10‑Hour Days | 06:30 AM – 05:00 PM

Call Response Time: Must be able to arrive at hospital within 30 minutes when on call

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a high‑performing interventional cardiology team. This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced procedural environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab experience required (2 years preferred)
• Active RN license with no license hits
• ACLS & BLS (AHA required; no pending certifications accepted)
• Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization
• Ability to perform and assist with:
• Left & Right Heart Catheterizations
• Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan‑Ganz monitoring
• Procedural sedation administration & monitoring
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Cardiac strip interpretation
• Phlebotomy
• Charting experience required (any system accepted; training provided as needed)
• First‑time travelers accepted

Compliance & Screening Requirements

• COVID‑19 and Flu Vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Negative 10‑panel drug screen + nicotine (cotinine) within 12 months
• Smoke‑free facility – nicotine‑free required (no exceptions)
• Two supervisory references (Manager/Director/ANM) within the past 18 months
• EKG & Pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts max; no remediation)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
