Cardiac Anesthesiologist Opportunity – Bakersfield, CA Established, Collegial Group within a High Acuity Practice

Coachella Valley Anesthesia, in partnership with Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, is seeking a fellowship-trained, TEE-certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a busy, high-acuity program within a growing regional hospital.

• Work 26 weeks per year, with flexibility to take on more if desired
• 24/7 cardiac call responsibility during assigned 26-week block

Compensation & Perks

• Highly competitive 1099 compensation model
• Shift pay starting at $350/hr (for cardiac), with opportunities for longer shifts
• Separate call stipend

Candidate Requirements

• Fellowship-trained in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology
• TEE certified (or eligible)
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
• California medical license (or eligibility to obtain)

Clinical Environment

Bakersfield Memorial Hospital is a high-volume facility offering a broad range of services including high-risk OB, neurology, cath lab, vascular surgery, and fast-paced orthopedic cases. The cardiac program features a diverse and high-acuity case mix including CABG, valve procedures, TAVR, and complex cardiac cases, with approximately 100 structural heart cases annually. The service is supported by a collaborative anesthesia model and strong surgical and procedural teams.
