Camp Counselor

We are seeking energetic, reliable, and engaging individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors / Youth Program Assistants. This role is responsible for supporting the daily operations of camp or youth programs, supervising children, leading activities, and ensuring a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in daily camp or after-school program activities
• Lead recreational, educational, and team-building exercises (sports, arts & crafts, games, etc.)
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at all times
• Assist with planning and executing structured programming and events
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and positive behavior reinforcement
• Support group management, transitions, and attendance tracking
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and leadership
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe activity environment
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and general program logistics

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or youth (camp, childcare, after-school programs, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead activities and manage groups in a fast-paced environment
• High energy, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required)
