Job Description

An A/E consulting firm is seeking a qualified CAD Drafter with experience in AutoCAD – MEP software to develop and design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.
• Set up drawings according to established CAD standards.
• Coordinate with the CAD requirements of clients.
• Draft mechanical and electrical drawings including process piping, electrical distribution, and control for water and wastewater projects (70% Electrical design, 30% Mechanical design).
• Conduct field validation of the drawings along with the Design Engineer.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience within an AE firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP.
• Experience in electrical design and mechanical design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Revit and MicroStation.
• Knowledge in wastewater design, wastewater engineering, plumbing, and fire protection.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Warren,MI.
