Venturi, LLC, a Chenega Company, has an exciting career opportunity for a C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst who will work on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. This individual will support the Missile Defense Agencys Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes, including cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.
Responsibilities
Use working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding
Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists
Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration
Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
Develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership
Support and interact daily with high-level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office, and have the ability to deliver products successfully in a fast-paced environment (on demand)
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 20+ years of relevant experience OR
Masters degree and 12+ years of relevant experience
Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines
Active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements
Capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the Performance Work Statement
Experience in cost, schedule, and performance management for a space-based program and/or a DoD program
Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution
