About the role

Join a procurement team supporting mission-critical programs within a regulated procurement environment. This role focuses on sourcing materials and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting procurement activities within government, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop procurement strategies in collaboration with program and project stakeholders
  • Prepare and issue RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs in compliance with procurement policies
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities and support supplier selection activities
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract conditions with suppliers
  • Perform cost and price analysis to ensure procurement efficiency
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records
  • Support supplier relationship management and performance improvement
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement regulations
  • Conduct market research to identify qualified suppliers
  • Monitor procurement budgets and cost performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and program management
  • Generate procurement reports and performance summaries


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred)
  • Experience working in procurement or purchasing roles
  • Experience supporting government or defense procurement environments
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, or DCMA guidelines
  • Experience performing supplier evaluation and contract negotiation
  • Experience performing cost and price analysis
  • Experience using ERP or procurement systems
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in defense or aerospace industries
  • Certification such as:
  • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)
  • CFCM (Certified Federal Contracts Manager)
  • Experience supporting government contracts
  • Experience supporting regulated procurement environments
  • Experience supporting supplier audits and compliance activities


Compensation

  • Estimated hourly range: $40–$45/hr (W-2)
  • Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
  • Work Schedule: 9/80 Schedule
  • Work Location: 100% Onsite – Hudson, NH
  • Contract Duration: 6+ Months
