About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-driven Buyer to support our growing supply chain operations by managing vendor relationships, purchase orders, and inventory flow across a diverse product portfolio. In this role, you’ll serve as a key partner to internal teams and external suppliers—ensuring materials arrive on time, data stays accurate, and cost expectations are met.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys balancing the strategic aspects of supplier management with the day-to-day execution of procurement activities.

What You’ll Do

  • Issue and manage purchase orders from initial requisition through delivery.
  • Monitor order status, identify delays, and proactively work with vendors to maintain target lead times.
  • Maintain accurate item, pricing, and supplier records to support operational visibility and decision-making.
  • Review shipping documents and confirmations to keep internal teams updated on inbound supply.
  • Work closely with Receiving, Logistics, and Finance to resolve discrepancies, including shortages, overages, damages, and invoicing conflicts.
  • Hold regular vendor check-ins to discuss performance metrics, opportunities for improvement, and upcoming capacity changes.
  • Investigate product quality issues and coordinate corrective actions when needed.
  • Provide timely updates on supply risks, backorder recovery timelines, and key supplier changes.
  • Partner with planning teams to evaluate supplier capabilities and support service-level goals.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline procurement workflows and enhance data accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline—or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 3–5 years of purchasing, procurement, or supplier management experience.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort navigating digital purchasing systems.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities across teams and suppliers.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to juggle shifting priorities.
