Overview of Role

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst III to support a high-performing Billing Strategy & Design team within a large enterprise environment. This role is critical in driving the discovery, documentation, and delivery of key billing and system-related initiatives from concept through implementation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating at the intersection of business and technology. This individual will lead discovery efforts, produce high-quality documentation, and serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.


Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery efforts including meeting preparation, facilitation, and stakeholder alignment sessions
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements across the full project lifecycle
  • Author, maintain, and manage Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate stakeholder reviews, feedback, and approvals for all requirements and documentation
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users and engineering/development teams
  • Identify, document, track, and support resolution of system issues and defects
  • Support documentation and reporting for both project-based and BAU (business-as-usual) initiatives
  • Maintain detailed records including meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups via email and messaging platforms
  • Contribute to internal process documentation across tools and systems such as JIRA, project intake workflows, and related platforms
  • Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling, communications, and coordination with cross-functional teams


Key Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role within a large enterprise environment
  • Strong experience leading discovery sessions and translating business needs into formal technical requirements
  • Proven ability to create and manage detailed documentation including BRDs, process flows, and system documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with SDLC methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA or similar project tracking platforms
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
