We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer II to join our Innovation & Analytics team in a role focused on operational analytics, automation, and data integration. This position supports operational leaders by developing tools, data pipelines, and analytic applications that improve access to reliable operational data and streamline recurring reporting processes.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex operational problems with data and building scalable solutions that reduce manual work. This role will work across multiple enterprise data sources—including Epic EHR, financial systems, and HR systems—to integrate and structure data for operational analysis. The position involves significant SQL development and work with relational databases to integrate disparate operational data sources. Responsibilities include developing SQL-based data solutions, automating recurring workflows using scripting tools such as Python, supporting internally developed analytics applications, and creating dashboards and curated datasets that enable operational teams to make informed decisions.
This role is well suited for someone who combines strong technical skills (SQL, data modeling, scripting/automation, and BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau) with a systems mindset—someone who enjoys improving processes, building reusable data assets, and ensuring operational analytics tools remain reliable and easy to use.

Position Summary:
Responsible for turning data into meaningful and actionable information that drives the improvement of healthcare quality. Works as part of a cross-functional team to improve processes critical to effective patient care. Extracts, analyzes, visualizes, and trends data to support quality programs, grants/research, process improvements, and regulatory requirements. The position provides consultation and support in operationalizing, developing, or interpreting metrics and data sources. Utilizes SQL, Tableau, and native Epic tools to uncover insights. The individual serves as a data model resource for Epic's Caboodle and Clarity databases and is responsible for validating and/or modifying existing foundation system reports.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Public Health or a related field required May substitute required education with equivalent years of experience beyond the minimum experience requirement.
Minimum Experience:
3 years of experience in a health care related field required
Experience with SQL query tools such as Oracle, Business Objects, Microsoft SQL required
Experience with data visualization e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools · required
Experience communicating insights to both business and technical teams in written and oral form & middot required
1 year of visualization developer experience supporting one or more Epic Clarity Data Models preferred Large scale health care systems planning and implementation experience on application software products preferred
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
